Brian Johnson

Brian is currently a Cofounder and General Partner at Crucyble, a security consultancy based in Menlo Park California. Brian was formerly CISO at Lending Club, the world’s largest online marketplace connecting borrowers and investors. Brian previously held management positions at both and Netflix and Forescout. Brian has 20 years of experience in Information Security with a focus on creating high performance security organizations. He has developed global security services for verticals including the DoD, Government, Fortune 500, and High Tech. He is an active advisor to several security startups and customer advisory boards in the Bay Area.

Rob Fry

Rob Fry is an accomplished executive, architect, inventor and public speaker with more than 20 years of experience working with tech in an array of fields. His current passion is for the cybersecurity space where he specializes in SOC operations, security automation, threat detection, data analytics, machine learning, and cloud security. Previous to Crucyble, Rob was the Senior Cloud Security Architect at Netflix, where he invented FIDO, a patented open source security orchestration platform while also helping them move their operations to AWS. And prior to Netflix, Fry was Senior Server and Security Engineer at Yahoo, where he created the DUBS configuration and automation framework for production servers. Currently, he also serves as VP of Engineering for JASK, a cybersecurity company helping to modernize the security operations. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring college students and working with universities and guiding technology companies and startups through growth as an active participant on advisory boards and engineering steering teams.

Michelle R. Koblas

Michelle Koblas is the Managing Partner for Crucyble, a consulting organization delivering executive technical leadership to help companies build and develop their information security and compliance programs.</p> <p>Michelle has over 25 years experience leading cross-functional IT and Information Security teams for companies such as Guardian Analytics, Brocade, eBay and Cisco. Her expertise includes security program strategies; product and architectural review; global operational network management and design; policy development and contract negotiations; security awareness and training; business continuity planning; SaaS operations; and design and audit of security and operational controls, supporting compliance to variety of security frameworks and standards.</p> <p>Michelle has her CISSP and CIPP/E certifications, has been a PCI DSS QSA and received an M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Computer Science from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington state. Her publications include documentation on the SOCKS protocol and research studies in network technologies and protocol applications. Michelle has been a speaker at technical conferences worldwide and is currently a member of ISSA, (ISC)2, ISACA, Watermark, and IEEE.
